If the sound is fine when playing music via Bluetooth or when watching TV, we recommend trying the following:

Connect the system wired (with an ethernet cable) if possible to find out if this is due to the wireless home network.

If this is not possible, separate the WiFi network bands by giving the 5 GHz band a unique SSID (network name) and setting the system accordingly. Then perform the following steps:

  1. Delete the Google Home app from the phone or tablet.
  2. Reset the RADIANCE 2400 by tapping on the display of the main unit, going to options and choosing restore factory settings. The system will then reboot and is ready to be reset.
  3. Then re-install the Google Home app and perform the setup when your phone/tablet is connected to the faster 5 GHz WiFi home network.

If you have a standard provider router with a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi home network, we advise you to separate these two bands by giving the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks a separate SSID (network name) and password. This requires you to log in to the modem.

If you do not know exactly how to do this, we advise you to contact your internet provider. They can often adjust this over the phone.

After that, make sure you connect the phone or tablet to the faster 5 GHz WiFi home network before you do the setup again.

If you have made changes in your network settings, make sure all your devices are logged on to the "new" network and forget about any other networks your phone/tablet can automatically connect to.
