Removing your home or accessories
If you want to remove an accessory from the Home app:
- On an iOS device: press and hold an accessory, tap ‘Settings’, scroll down to the bottom and tap ‘Remove Accessory’.
- On a Mac: double-click on an accessory, click on ‘Settings’, scroll down and click on ‘Remove Accessory’.
If you remove your home from the Home app, all your data will be removed, such as accessories, scenes, automations and people you have invited to share control of your home. You will have to set up all your accessories again before you can configure them again. If you want to set up an accessory again, check whether the accessory has a button, consult the manual or contact the manufacturer.
If you want to remove your home and all associated data from the Home app:
- On an iOS device: tap the in the upper left corner, scroll down and tap ‘Remove Home’.
- On a Mac: go to ‘Edit’ > ‘Edit Home’, scroll down and click on ‘Remove Home’.
