Before we start

Make sure you are using an iPhone or iPad running iOS 11.4 or later and make sure your device supports Airplay 2. The older MK1 version of the Citation ONE/100 speakers does not support Apple Airplay (also after a software upgrade). The new MK2 version and all other Citation devices do support this.

Android

When you have finished installing your Citation products via the Google Home app, AirPlay will be ready for use instantly. Then click on the AirPlay logo in the control centre of your phone or tablet or in your favourite app, select your speaker(s) and start streaming audio.

iOS

If you want to directly set up AirPlay with the Apple Home app and want to run the setup through the Google Home app later, follow the steps below for Citation speakers with display.

Step 1: Select Dutch or another language on your Citation device’s display.

Step 2: Select iOS.

Step 3: Open the Apple Home app.

Step 4: Click on the ‘+’ sign and select ‘Add Accessory’.

Step 5: Select ‘I Don’t Have a Code or Can’t Scan’.

Step 6: Follow the instructions in the Apple Home app to complete the setup.

Step 7: After successful installation, you can start streaming by clicking on the AirPlay logo in your favourite app or via the control center.

NOTE: You can access the Apple Control Center by swiping your finger from the top right to the bottom of your iPhone.
