If you create a surround setup with your CITATION Bar, speakers and/or subwoofer, the Citation Bar will act as a hub for wirelessly controlling the other speakers. WiSA technology is used for this.

WiSA is a technology for wirelessly sending up to 8 channels of audio. This means you can wirelessly equip an up to 7.1 surround setup with audio without this negatively affecting the quality.

WiSA uses frequencies from 5.2 to 5.8 GHz, which should in practice yield at most 5 ms latency when playing 24-bit uncompressed audio sources. High-end audio standards with height channels, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, can also be decoded.

Because WiSA technology uses the 5 GHz band, it is less sensitive to interference compared to other technologies in the lower wireless range, and more data can be sent due to the faster speed.
