The Citation Surround speakers can be paired (in addition to the Citation Bar and/or Citation MultiBeam 700/1100) with a Citation AMP and incorporated into a multi-room audio setup.
Pairing Citation Surrounds
To pair the Citation Surround speakers with the Citation AMP, follow these steps: On the back of the Citation Surround speakers is a reset button. Press and hold this button for about 20 seconds until a pipette tone sounds and the white LED lights on the front of the Citation Surround speakers blink.
When both Citation Surround speakers are flashing you can put the Citation AMP into pairing mode by pressing the pairing button on the back of the Citation Amp. The LED light on the front of the Citation Amp will turn green when pairing is successful.
NOTE: The Citation Surround speakers are intended for placement as Rear Left and Rear Right speakers to play surround content (Dolby Audio movies, etc.). Please note that the output of the source (a TV, decoder, or media player) must also be set to surround pass-through for it to play. When no surround content is played (for example, radio or stereo music) or when the TV settings are not set correctly, the surround speakers may not play along.
