Bluetooth
You can use your Citation speaker as an external speaker for your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet.
Establish a Bluetooth connection
- Make sure your Citation 200 is connected to Wi-Fi using the Google Home app (see "CONNECTING WITH WI-FI").
- With the speaker turned on, press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Ready for pairing: The LED indicators light up blue and scroll.
- Select "Citation 200" to connect.
NOTE:
If you changed the name of your Citation 200 while setting up Wi-Fi, look for the speaker with that name. Connection successful: The LED indicators flash blue and then dim.
Connecting to another Bluetooth device?
- With the speaker turned on, press and hold the Bluetooth button for at least 5 seconds. The previously paired device is deleted from the Citation speaker. The speaker switches to Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Follow step 2 under "Connecting Bluetooth device".
If the device was previously paired with the speaker, disconnect it from the "Citation 200" first.
NOTES:
- Bluetooth operation may be affected by the distance between this product and your Bluetooth device and by the operating environment.
- During Chromecast, AirPlay or Bluetooth streaming, music playback on the currently connected device pauses when you start music playback on a second connected device.
